I didn’t realize this was going to be a two-parter. In what is now the first part, I tried to lay out some books that I think are great representatives of their genres. None of us can possibly appoint books as universal bests, but everything I’m mentioning here are books that I think can not only be enjoyed but can teach you a lot if you’re looking for how to tell stories better.
